American Hero

I guess the whole culture of introducing Super Hero and Super power has something to do with human nature, I felt it once; during performance test we realized that our application has a poor performance mainly caused by a componenet that I had inherit it from another developer, right there I felt I can fix it in 2 days and I felt that no matter what I have to save all the hours that all the people I knew and had worked hard had spent to make that application happen! BUT, other than this little story I guess there were many day to day life occasions that we had to act wise and heroical without any super power, I don't know if there is any good example has been set for those occasions in this media!
